TRANSPORT OPTIONS from Barcelona airport - *Be careful with your wallets, passports, etc. Unfortunatelly, there are many pickpockets in Barcelona and they can be found mostly on trains, subway, bars and beaches.
TAXI (approx. 30min) - There is a line of taxis in front of both terminals, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to Sagrada Familia, depending on the traffic. A taxi drive should cost around 30-35Eur (8-20h workdays) or 35-40Eur (nights, holidays and weekends).

At daytime Aerobus departs every 5-10 minutes from both Terminals. It costs 5.90Eur per person. You should get off the bus at PLAZA CATALUÑA (last stop), walk a little up the street Passeig de Gracia, and right in front of a big Zara store get the metro line L2 (violet line) to Sagrada Familia. When you get off at Sagrada Familia stop, take the exit "Sortida Provença" and you should be in Avenida Gaudi.
METRO airport line L9 SUD (approx. 1h30min): This metro line connects the airport with the city metro lines and you need to get a special Airport ticket (4.50€ per person) or get an integrated Hola Bcn metro card, which will be valid both for airport metro and city metro. You should get off at the stop COLLBLANC and then switch to the city metro line L5 (blue) and go to the metro stop SAGRADA FAMILIA. When you get off at Sagrada Familia stop, take the exit "Sortida Plaza Gaudí" and you should be in Avenida Gaudi.
The area known as Poblet was once a neighbourhood of fields and low-rise houses. During the 19th century, factories were set up here, fostering the growth of the area. It was here, in 1881, that building work commenced on the church of atonement for the citizens of this expanding city.
